Accessibility Statement

Last updated: April 19, 2026

Our commitment

MuniMind strives to make its Service usable for everyone, including people with disabilities. Civic information is fundamental; access to it should not depend on how you interact with the web.

Standards we follow

We target conformance with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA. We use Lighthouse accessibility audits as a baseline check on key public pages and address regressions as they appear.

What we currently support

  • Semantic HTML with proper heading structure and landmarks
  • Keyboard-accessible navigation, chat composer, and map controls
  • Descriptive alt text on informative images
  • Color contrast designed to meet WCAG AA
  • Dark mode and reduced-motion preferences respected
  • Screen reader support tested in VoiceOver (macOS, iOS) and Narrator (Windows)

Known limitations

Some parts of the Service — particularly the map workspace, complex data tables, and third-party embedded PDFs — are harder to make fully accessible. We are working to improve these areas. If you hit a blocker, please let us know so we can prioritize a fix.

Feedback and assistance

If you encounter an accessibility barrier on any MuniMind page, please email team@munimind.com with:

  • The URL of the page
  • A description of the problem
  • Your browser and assistive technology (if applicable)

We aim to respond within 5 business days and to ship a fix or workaround within 30 days for issues that block access to core functionality.
