A “detached” building is a building surrounded by yards or other open area on the same zoning lot .

FROM 107-01 : detached For the purposes of this Chapter a "detached" building is a building surrounded by yards or other open area on the same zoning lot or is a building abutting a street line which is surrounded by yards or open area on the same zoning lot except where the building abuts the street line .
