§134-29

The City Planning Commission may authorize modification of the provisions of Sections 134-25 through 134-28, provided that the Commission finds that such modification: (a) will promote the goals of the Special Governors Island District; and (b) will result in a superior urban design relationship with surrounding ways, buildings and public open areas or provide an equivalent or better distribution of bulk on the #building parcel#. Any application pursuant to this Section shall be referred to the local Community Board. The Commission shall not grant such authorization prior to forty-five (45) days following the referral.
