Manhattan Academy for Arts and Language prepares English Language Learners and former ELLs for a successful future by offering unique opportunities for students to excel in Regents examinations, Advanced Placement (AP) courses, early college experiences and on-time graduation. MAAL embraces students from all over the world and motivates them by balancing rigorous instruction, individualized attention, and focused language development. MAAL integrates theater, film/documentary making in content courses and offers a strings music program and photography. Interested students also take part in internships.
