MuniMind Inc. ("MuniMind", "we", "us") operates the MuniMind platform at munimind.com and associated subdomains. We provide AI-powered municipal intelligence tools. Contact: team@munimind.com.

2. Information We Collect

Account information: When you create an account, we collect your name, email address, and authentication credentials (via Google OAuth or email/password).

Usage data: We collect information about how you use the Service, including pages visited, searches performed, AI chat queries, and API calls. We use PostHog for product analytics.

API usage: If you use our API, we log requests including endpoints called, credit consumption, and response metadata.

Social media interactions: When you interact with our X (Twitter) account @MuniMindAI — including @mentions, replies, and direct messages — we collect the content of those interactions, your public profile information, and your username. This data is used to provide automated responses and improve our service.

• Service providers: Supabase (database), Vercel (hosting), Anthropic (AI), PostHog (analytics), Resend (email)
• X (Twitter): When our bot @MuniMindAI replies to your mentions, your interaction data is processed through X's API in accordance with X's Privacy Policy
• Legal requirements: When required by law, court order, or government request

5. Data from Public Sources

MuniMind aggregates publicly available government data including meeting recordings, council votes, zoning applications, property records, and legislative documents. This data is public record and our collection and analysis of it does not require consent from individuals mentioned in those records.

6. Data Retention

We retain account data for as long as your account is active. Usage logs and analytics data are retained for up to 24 months. Social media interaction logs are retained for quality monitoring and service improvement. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time.

7. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Opt out of marketing communications
• Export your data in a portable format

8. Security

We use essential cookies for authentication and session management. We use PostHog for product analytics, which may set cookies to track usage patterns. We do not use third-party advertising cookies.

10. Children

The Service is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated policy on this page with a new "Last updated" date.
